Our mission

Build the automation layer for healthcare.

AI first. Robotics next. A healthcare system where software and machines handle the repetitive labor, while humans focus on judgment, empathy, and complex care.

Healthcare in America is fundamentally broken.

It is not just expensive. It is structurally dependent on human labor for repetitive administrative work at massive scale. That does not work. It cannot scale. It makes care slow, expensive, and inaccessible.

The result is obvious: children, elderly people, and chronically ill patients often do not get the care they need at a price they can afford.

Admin is about 30% of the excess U.S. healthcare cost versus peer countries.

The only credible path is automation.

We are starting with the biggest obvious failure point: administration. Coverage policy, prior authorization, claims, billing, documentation, and care coordination are massive labor sinks. They waste billions of dollars, delay care, and burn out the system.

They also do not require replacing clinical judgment on day one.

Over time, Backwork will move from administrative automation into clinical workflow automation, then robotics, so the labor stops being the bottleneck on how much care gets delivered, and to whom.

The roadmap.

  1. 01Coverage Policy Intelligence
  2. 02Prior Authorization and Claims Automation
  3. 03Claims, Billing, and Revenue Cycle Automation
  4. 04Clinical Workflow Agents
  5. 05ML Research on Healthcare Labor Automation
  6. 06Robotics for Long-Term Care, Home Health, and Assisted Living

Healthcare does not need to be 5% better.
It needs to be 10x cheaper, 10x faster, and 10x more accessible.

Verity is the first product. Source-backed coverage intelligence for prior authorization, claim validation, denial risk, and payer-policy monitoring.
